Simon Cowell has assured TV audiences they have certainly not yet witnessed the best from the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ auditions.
Simon Cowell has reassured fans there is going to be a “Susan Boyle” defining moment on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.
The music mogul contends that the very first audition programme, that broadcast on Saturday (17.04.10), didn’t present all of this year’s best auditions, and has guaranteed we will see at the minimum one single act who’ll take the country by storm in the manner that Scottish vocalist Susan managed a year ago.
He stated: “We have not placed all of the very best acts within the first show this year, therefore audiences will probably still be pleasantly surprised.
“Certainly, there are a handful of excellent acts coming up.”
One of the entertainers who’ve already impressed audiences and also the judging panel was dancing dog Chandi and her owner Tina Humphrey.
Nevertheless, one person who is not really impressed is Kate Nicholas, who owns Gin, a performing dog who came to the finals of the show in 2008.
She blasted: “Chandi has grown up appearing at dancing dog shows and on TV. She is a showbiz dog.
“What is unique about Gin is that she grew up with me and I taught her all those tricks and dance moves at home.
“The first time she’d ever been on a stage or faced an audience was on ‘BGT’ back in 2008.
“Chandi has been doing it for years.”
Chandi’s owner Tina – who has in the past taken her dog on television shows including ‘Blue Peter’ and Graham Norton’s ‘When Will I Be Famous’ – declined to be drawn into a row.
Tina advised the Daily Star newspaper: “I have nothing but admiration for fellow dog performers.”
